Ridge Body Shop was established in 1976 and is the longest running, same owner/operator auto body repair shop in Lake Wales, Florida.
We are a true Mom and Pop business in which high quality repairs are always more important than high quantity. Dave Townsend, owner, has over 44 years' experience. His wife of more than 32 years, Dena, also works in the shop and has over 28 years' experience.

We use the DuPont Automotive Finishes VINdicator™ which is a breakthrough color technology tool that provides superior color match for 98% of the vehicles sold in the United States since 1997. By entering the vehicle identification number (VIN) into this computerized formula retrieval system, we are provided with an accurate color matching formula for that vehicle.
Conveniently located just north of downtown Lake Wales, you will find us within the rear section of the Ridge Rentals storage complex. Our entrance is on Old Scenic Highway, just east of Spook Hill Elementary School. The complex is completely fenced with a security alarm system, and all vehicles are safely stored inside our facilities.
Our hours are:
- Mondays through Thursdays 8 AM to 4 PM
- Fridays 8 AM to noon
- Closed Saturdays and Sundays
We are often there much earlier and will always work late to complete a job. We will gladly meet you at any time for your convience.
